Shorter version (pdf resume)

Who am I ?

My name is Gerry Agbobada, I currently work as a PhD candidate at the Centre for Material Forming (CEMEF) in Sophia Antipolis.

What am I doing ?

My work as a student consists mainly in preparing the field for numerical simulations in the TOOTHBOX project, which aims to create the best tool to predict lifetime of dental composites. The framework is based on computational homogenisation using Finite Element Method (MINI-elements are used).

What do I like ?

I like knowing and getting to understand how stuff work, and I also love basketball (enough to continue trying to play after two torn ACLs).

Why am I doing this ?

Because I already spend quite some time on computers, so this is the quickest means of putting my thoughts somewhere safe from oblivion.
